I wondered your smile meant something or just being friendy..

Alright, This is our last day of literature for this term. The 1 week holiday is coming! During the lesson, Mr Tyrus briefed us about our literature blog. Also, he gave back our test paper. Sadly, i did not pass :( When i saw the marks, i felt that i did not study hard enough and was not concentrated when revising. Althought i felt regreted, i told myself that i must do pass my literature paper for my End Of Year examination. That is the last chance for the term to pass my literature. Not only the paper itself, also our performance. Our performace takes 70% of it and we must really put in alot of effort in our performance in order to pass.

The lesson was about this picture. It was taken by Kevin Carter. The first look will let me think why he did not save the kid. At first, i thought Kevin Carter is a heartless guy, but after listen to his story, he did helped to chase the vulture away. Althought he did help, but the girl did not survive in the end. He died on the date of 27 July 1994. He died of carbon monoxide poisoning at the age of 33. In his suicide notes, he included this : I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners... This shows that he regreted that he did not assist the girl. So, always care for your family and your loved ones, dont take them for granted, once they are gone and u start to regret, its too late to regret.

I felt that we can do our work silently when we are told to do so. Even if we are not told to do so, we must think of others. Others may could not think of things to answer the question if it is too noisy. Therefore, we must think for others in order to get respect from others. I felt that doing homework in lesson will be better as everyone will hand in work on time and there will not be any misunderstanding like copying others people work. Everything we do must have intergrity. Even if we are told to do our homework at home, we must no copy other people hard work as there is a chinese saying, there is no free lunch in this world(天下没有免费的午餐。）

It is our first rehearsal and i felt that my group, Charlie, a few of them did not memorise their lines yet. While watching their act, we were told to write comments about the 4 characters, Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt and Lord Capulet. I think the one who act Juliet need to improve more on her volume. We could not hear her as she speaks too soft. In fact, i felt that some of the people are really weird as when they chat with their friends, they can speak very loud and when they are talking infront of a class or presenting something, they speak in a softer manner.

I felt that our class did not update their learning logs weekly and this might affect their marks. Now adays, i often forgeting things like updating learning logs. Everyone is not perfect. Everyone has their own bad points and good points. Even if you have alot of bad points, you can change or do something in it. Even if we update our learning logs lately, we still must put in our best in it. Everything we do, we must put our best in it. Example, you're in a competition and you know that you can't win the match but you put in your best towards the competition. At the end of the competition, you will feel that nothing is wasted. In fact, you will be a more positive person.

Today, Mr Tyrus gave us a worksheet about the Mighty Mandarin. It was my first time hearing this story and i find it intersting. Also, i have some thoughts after i read the story. I felt that we people must not make things difficult for people and dont crititise other people appearance. It may be an insult to that person which u all do not like it. Also, have a thought for others whenever u trying to do something that is related to them. Some maybe sensitive to what u had done and this may lead to unnecessary problems such as fights etc. Overall, always think of what will be the consequences if you want to do this matter and always face the consequences u have made.
